Are you, or someone you know, a Parrot lover? Would you like to see how parrots behave in flocks?
We can now offer you the chance to spend a full day with over 600 parrots, covering over 80 species, where you can handle, feed and care for the needy ones.
For the very first time, Tropical Birdland is opening its doors to offer a limited number of people a very special experience. A day full of parrots, from helping with the chicks to feeding the exotic birds. You will be given the opportunity to work with our parrot keepers,on the daily schedule and learning how best to care for these wonderful birds. The activities will vary on a day to day basis but could involve helping out with environmental enrichment.

Any day except for bank holiday Mondays and Sundays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Your exciting day at Tropical Birdland will start at approximately 9am. and finish at 5pm.
You must be at least 16 years old. There will be some very close contact with the birds when carrying out work involving the parrots.
There can be a maximum of 6 other people in your group.
The planned activity will still go ahead regardless of the weather, however, if it is very wet then you must bring suitable clothing with you.
Food and drinks will be provided in The Real Macaw restaurant. A choice of hot or cold food will be available. If you require any vegetarian meals for you or other group members, then please inform us of this when booking.
